Public Library Board
COMPOSITION: Seven (7) members 
TERMS:  Two (2) years
CITY DEPARTMENT:   Public Library

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Public Library Board shall be consulted regarding advice on library policy and administration, and in no event make any obligation to funds.  It is the function of the Public Library Board to plan future growth and priorities of the library, plan active community awareness programs; support the library and its policies and the public and its right to information.  The board works closely with the Library Director.

MEETINGS: The Public Library Board meets every other month on the second Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.  Special meetings are called as needed.
