    For the third year, the library will host a daily maker camp for those interested in DIY, making, creating, crafting, hacking, tinkering, and learning. New projects will be presented each day at this drop-in program. Kids can come to one or all of the daily workshops. Ages 8 years and up. Drop-in, no registration.   2. Build a Better Environment

    Join John Boyette, District Forester III with the Texas A&M Forest Service, and Katie Blevins, Executive Coordinator of Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful, for discussions about how to get involved in making a difference for the environment, right outside your front door. Kids may attend for a companion workshop next door at STEAM 4 Kids. Ages 18 years and up. Please register by July 19th. Don't forget about tracking your program or reading on ReadSquared!

  3. STEAM 4 Kids: Lights! Camera! Action!

    Summer STEAM 4 Kids will be devoted to the art of film making. We will investigate types of cameras, types of videos, enhancing videos through lighting and sound, and how to edit and share our videos. Each program will have a different lesson so children can participate as they are able. Ages 7-11 years. Please register by the day before each event.
